Shrivenham Repair Cafe
Repair, don’t replace.
Bring your broken household items, clothing, electricals and more to our friendly monthly Repair Café, where skilled volunteers will do their best to help you give them a new lease of life. It takes place on the 4th Saturday of the month at Shrivenham Methodist Church.
Whether it's a favourite lamp, a temperamental toaster, a ripped jacket or a treasured keepsake, we'll work with you to see if it can be repaired.
Pre-booking is helpful (but not essential) so we can prepare the right repair volunteers, tools and spares for your item. It will also speed up your check in process on the day.

Relax with a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of homemade cake while you wait and enjoy meeting members of your local community.
OR wait for a call for collection by 1pm - (unfortunately we cannot store any items)
Our repairs are carried out by volunteers and, while we can't guarantee every item can be fixed, we'll always do our best.
Please note…
To help the event run smoothly, please bear the following in mind:
We carry out repairs only – we are unable to undertake alterations or customisation work.
Items must be hand portable and able to be safely carried by one person.
Replacement parts are not included. If your repair requires new parts, these may need to be purchased at an additional cost.
We cannot accept petrol or diesel-powered equipment, including lawn mowers, strimmers, chainsaws and similar machinery.
All repairs are undertaken by skilled volunteers who will do their best, but we cannot guarantee every item can be repaired.
